2007 Lexus IS250 Check Engine Light ON

My Lexus IS250 has the check engine light ON for a transmission shift solenoid malfunction. The Lexus runs fine and it passed the smog check emissions. Will it still fail for the check engine light being on?


Answer:		Unfortunately the DMV considers any problem which causes the check engine light to turn on, a smog check failure.
