First off, you'll need to get a smog check in California from a California
certified smog check center. Do not get your Chrysler PT Cruiser smog tested
in Texas. A Texas smog certificate will not be valid in California. Once
moving here you can take your Cruiser to any type of California smog
station; smog test only center, regular smog check & repair station, or any
Gold Shield smog center for a smog inspection.
