You can get a smog check at any California certified smog check station as
long as the station performs the type of test (basic smog test or advanced
smog test) which the county where your VW is registered. Does that make
sense? In other words... If your vehicle is registered in an enhanced county
you'll need to find a smog center certified to perform an advanced smog
test. What zip code, city, county is your vehicle registered in?
