2006 Ford F-250 - Does it need a Catalytic Converter?

I own a 2006 Ford f-250 6.0 Powerstroke which I'm bringing to California. Will it need to have a CAT?

Answer:

Your Ford F-250 will need to be equipped with the emission components which the vehicle was shipped with from the factory; in order to pass the smog check and register the vehicle in California. According to the Motor Emission Application Guide, your 2006 Ford F-250 should be equipped with a catalytic converter.
