Chevy Camaro DMV Registration Question

Hello. I own a 1994 Camaro Z28. I registered my car in April 2011. It was due for smog check that year but it did not pass. I didn't drive it all year. When I get the registration renewal dues this April (2012) will I still need to smog check it, being it, it will be a non-smog test year for my car?


Answer:		Technically your Camaro's smog check was due last April. If we understand correctly... you tried registering your Camaro in April 2011 but did not complete the registration because it failed the smog check. If this is true, your Camaro will need a smog check every year until it passes the smog check, and the initial registration process (or the one in April 2011) is completed. posted by SmogTips Support
