1999 Toyota Camry Failed For Blue Smoke From Tailpipe

If your vehicle fails smog and you take it to another smog test station and it passes, does DMV automatically accept the new passing report? My Toyota Camry failed the smoke test. It had bluish white smoke coming out the tailpipe. I am going to change the oil and add a conditioner and take it to a new testing station because I do not trust the original station.


Answer:		Yes the DMV will accept the passing smog check regardless of the smog station which passes it. In otherwords you can take your vehicle to a 2nd smog test station of your choice. posted by SmogTips Support
