1999 Toyota Avalon Smog Check without Gas Cap Attached
My 99 Toyota Avalon's smog test was performed with the gas cap off. I pointed it out to the technician and he said "It's o.k." is this true?
Answer:
Technically "it's ok" as it would not affect your Toyota Avalon's emissions test outcome. We would not recommend driving a vehicle without it's gas cap (on the road or on a dynamometer) for simple safety reasons.
