2003 Toyota Camry Importing From Out Of State

I have a 2003 Camry it has 125,000 miles on it. I bought and use the car in my home State of Virginia. I am planning on moving to California this summer, will I need make any modifications to the car in order to pass California Emissions Control standards?

Your 2003 Toyota Camry should not have a problem passing a California smog check and being registered in this State without needing any emission system modification.

It's true, there is a difference with California legal and Federal legal emission requirements. And, for the most part California is stricter.
