Nissan Quest Van Needs Enhanced Smog Check

This is a corporate vehicle (1996 Nissan Quest) that is registered in Santa Clara County but is stored and used in Monterey County. I've gone to a local STAR Station and they could not smog it on account that the vehicle is registered in an enhanced area with more stringent pollution standards. Is it possible to have the vehicle checked locally without registering in Monterey County, or do I have to take it to a STAR station in Santa Clara County?


Answer:		You don't necessarily need to take your Nissan Quest to Santa Clara County, but you do need to find a smog station registered in an "Enhanced" County.
