2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Registering in San Diego County

I am going to register my 2004 Dodge RAM 1500 in San Diego county. I am moving from Santa Clara county.  No smog check is required because the last smog test was completed in 2012.  Do I have to smog test again because I'm moving?

Answer:  

Your Dodge Ram should not need a second smog check so long as a title transfer is not occuring. Simply moving to a new address does not warrant a smog inspection. To verify this you should contact the DMV at (800) 777-0133.
