How Much for Pontiac Grand Prix Smog Check Retest

Hello my Pontiac Grand Prix recently failed a smog check at a STAR station. I went back for a retest and was told I had to pay again. Is that a new law I am not aware of am that I am not entitled to a free retest? Thank you very much.


Answer:		Smog stations in California are privately owned and set their own prices, including their smog check retest policy. Some smog stations offer free retests but many don't.
