This Ford Windstar is currently licensed/registered in NV but I want it make it mine. The check engine light on. Can you do a smog check so I that this car be mine, free and clear from my soon to be ex-husband? What paperwork do I need?

Your Ford Windstar will not pass the smog check if the check engine light is on. You may start the title transfer process but will be unable to complete registration until the vehicle passes a smog inspection.
