Registering My Out of State Pontiac Sunfire in CA
Hello, I just moved to California from Arizona. I had to renew my car registration in Arizona in Sept 2015, which included getting an emissions test. So, I was wondering, since I just recently did all that, do I still have to get a smog test to register in California?

Your Pontiac is going to need a smog check from a California smog station before the DMV will issue you a California title. Good news is the both Arizona's and California's emission test procedure for model year 2000 and newer vehicles are very similar. Since your vehicle passed the emissions test in Arizona, the likelihood that it will pass California's smog check is very likely; assuming no problems developed between the last test and the current one you'll be getting.
