1997 Ford Focus EVAP monitor status incomplete. Will this stop my Ford from passing the smog inspection.

My Ford Focus failed due to check engine light. Had work done, check engine light is off. I was advised that the EVAP monitoring status is incomplete. Will this be a problem? I've driven over 100 miles since work was done.


Answer:		Since you've repaired the check engine light problem and the check engine light is now off, you can pass the smog check. The smog inspection allows one (1) incomplete monitor. If the only the EVAP monitor is incomplete you'll be able to pass the smog check; so long as the check engine light is not on. posted by SmogTips Support
