Is the Drive Cycle for a 1998 Toyota Camry V6 the Same as 2.2 Cycle?

I have a 1998 Toyota Camry with a V6. I'm wondering if the drive cycle is the same as the 2.2 liter engine drive cycle.

Answer:

Hello James. So long as both vehicle's are California emissions certified, the drive cycle applies to both 4 cyl and v6 model engine. Engine's which are Federal Emissions Certified have a slightly different drive pattern. Please see the link below if you need to re-read or re-print the Toyota Camry drive cycle. We've also attached a link to the entire drive cycle procedure for Toyota vehicles, model years 1998 to 2002.
