We'd recommend contacting a local auto parts store that supplies auto parts
to local mechanics. They will usually carry all required emission components
for your Chevy El Camino, including the Air Pump (also known as the smog
pump). If you are still unsuccessful, the state's Part Locator might be able
to help get your El Camino into compliance with state law. If they are
unable to find the smog pump as well, they can issue you a "Limited Parts
Exemption". More then likely you'll end up finding an air pump for this
particular vehicle either through a part store or the part locator. You may
