as a smog pump from the factory. The smog pump will be required to pass a
California smog check. If your truck's air injection pump has been removed,
consider locating one at a local wrecking yard or contacting a local auto
parts store for a rebuilt unit. Having the smog pump installed and
functioning is not only required to pass the smog inspection but is also
necessary in order to lower HC and CO emissions.
