What could be causing my O2 sensor to not ready? I drive a 2005 bmw 530i.
My car does not pass smog because the O2 sensor does not ready. I’ve done lots of driving already and even did a drive cycle where I drove 55 mph for 30 mins and it still has not readied. I don’t have any error codes for the O2 sensor which makes me think it’s not a sensor issue. My engine thermostat is broken so my engine runs cool (70-75 celsius avg), could that be the reason why? My battery is also in need of replacing, since it is somewhat low in voltage now. My car is registered in san diego. Thank you!!
