If the light you're referring to is in fact the "maintenance" light and not
the check engine light, there's no need to worry. The maintenance light is
not part of the smog check inspection. Only the "check engine" light is
inspected as part of the smog test. As far as turning off the maintenance
light for your Dodge Caravan unfortunately this is a procedure only the
dealer can do as far as our knowledge.
