1998 Buick Regal with Service Vehicle Light on, not the "service engine" light.

I have a 98 buick regal ls and need a test only smog, is it still possible to pass the test if my 'service vehicle light" is on, and not the "service engine" light?


Answer:		Your Regal's Service Vehicle Soon light works independent of the "check engine" or "service engine soon" light. So long as your Buick has no stored trouble codes and does not have the Service Engine Soon light illuminated, you can pass the smog check... assuming of course there are no emission failures. posted by SmogTips Support
