Tips on passing the smog check for a 2010 VW Jetta.

I am going to be moving to san diego soon and I just bought a 2010 jetta (6.22.1-SD) with 37,000 miles. What is the likelihood that it is going to pass smog test? what are some tips to get it ready? what can I do if it doesn't?


Answer:		Your VW is new enough only to need a proper warm up before getting a smog inspection. Also make sure the tires are properly inflated... and that's about all you should need. We don't expect your vehicle to have any trouble passing the smog test. posted by SmogTips Support
