2001 Honda Civic XE service engine light on at 100,000 miles. How do I reset

When my daughters Civic turned 100,000 miles, the service engine light came on. It runs fine, just need to know how to reset it.

Answer:

If your Honda Civic a digital odometer (which we think it does) hold down the button that you use to reset the trip odometers but do it while it is in regular odometer mode and not trip odometer. If your Honda's odometer is not the digital type. there should be a slit on the speedometer to insert your key to reset it.
