Vehicle Registration Renewal. 1998 Lincoln Continental.

I'm not sure if I need to have a smog. I changed address and haven't recieved a renewal notice. My tags expire the end of April, 2010. I am a AAA member, do I just go to AAA and present my current registration papers for renewal, or do I need a smog as well?


Answer:		Since you don't have the registration renewal papers you'll need to call the DMV to find out if your Lincoln needs a smog check this year. Smog checks are required every two years during a vehicle's registration renewal period. Call the DMV at (800) 777-0133. posted by SmogTips Support
