My 1993 Nissan Altima has a bad cylinder.

1993 Nissan Altima. Any chance I can pass a smog check if I have a bad cylinder. Basically only running on three right now.


Answer:		More then likey not. A bad cylinder means a cylinder pretty much working as a "pump"; pumping fuel (HC) and air through the exhaust system. More then likey your Nissan will produce high HC during the smog inspection, causing it to fail the test. posted by SmogTips Support
