Does a 2000 ford F350 7.3 powerstroke need a catalytic converter?

I recently purchased a 2000 Ford F350 CC with a 7.3l powerstroke diesel. I need to know if a cat converter is required. Did these come from the factory with one. Thanks


Answer:		Per our Motor Emission Application Guide your 2000 Ford Powerstroke truck was not equipped with a CAT and does not require a CAT to pass an emissions test or California smog check. posted by SmogTips Support
