Buying a 1970 Chevy C10 from out of state.

My question is...if I buy an older truck (1975 or older) from Texas and bring it to Califonia, would I need to have it smoged?

Answer:  

1975 & older vehicles do not require smog checks in California. You will only need proof of insurance and Texas title to register your 1970 Chevy C10 in California.
