Failed Smog Test

2001 Toyota Camry - Catalyst and EVAP monitors not set. How much more should I drive?

Rejected smog test results showing OBD catalyst not completed and OBD EVAP not completed. I drove my Toyota Camry for about 220 miles since then. Should I drive some more to get enough drive cycles on car?

Answer:

220 miles should do it... so long as it wasn't during a one or two day period. The vehicle needs to be stopped and started several times, with ample time in between to run the EVAP tests, and set the EVAP monitor. Also gas tank fuel level must be between 1/4 and 3/4 full during this time.
