The SRS light being on or illuminated will not affect your Volvo S60's smog check results. The smog inspection does not test a vehicle's SRS Safety Restraint System, and your Volvo will not fail because the SRS light is on. However we should note that if the smog technician feels there might be an unsafe condition which is causing your Volvo SRS light to be illuminated he or she may refuse to conduct the smog inspection or if an unsafe condition occurs during the smog inspection he or she may need to abort the smog test. This is usually unlikely with SRS problems, but we do need to advise vehicle owners of it.
