Unfortunately an out of state smog check (emissions test) will not be accepted by the California Department of Motor Vehicles. You may however file for an Out-of-State Smog Check Exemption.
See REG 5103. If you submit this form along with your registration renewal notice and payment, the DMV will mail your new registration card and sticker to the DMV address on record.
You may also use
